After working in the corporate world for over 10 years after I graduated college with an English degree, I decided to take the plunge in 2015 and go back to school to become what I knew I always wanted to be: an English teacher! I absolutely love teaching, and I'm truly excited to be in this awesome profession. Every day is a new adventure!
In addition to teaching, I have been a life-long lover of learning. I'm always teaching myself new skills (like metalsmithing or hand-lettering), and treasure that curiosity and passion for new knowledge in my students. Because I also love writing so much, I am currently in the middle (nearing the end!) of writing the first draft of my novel and I'm also the advisor for the Creative Writing Club. Join us in Rm 2004 during Club ASRs! I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to share the year with my students. Here's to a great 2018-2019 year! Go Cardinals! |
